Dr. Dawes Edwards has more than two decades of experience in creating beautiful smiles in Orangeburg. He received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. After completing dental school, he continued his education with a General Practice Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Finally, he attended West Virginia University’s Orthodontic Residency Program, a fully accredited orthodontic program, to earn a Master’s of Science degree and specialty certification in Orthodontics.

Dr. Edwards is very active in the Orangeburg community. His involvement includes the Rotary Club, Orangeburg -Calhoun Technical College Foundation Board, and is a member of First Presbyterian Church. He also spends time mentoring high school students and coaching basketball.
